.kelley family.

oh my how time flies. my oh my. i simply cannot believe that my youngest is one. (as of october 2011. yes, i know this posting is late, but better late than never, right?!) i never knew that i could love anything or anyone more than i already did with my first born, madison. it happens though, that is for sure. without my two girls, i could not imagine how life would be. every single day they make me proud, they make a bad day all better, they make me keep going. everything i do, i do for them - simple as that.
i am so proud of this image below. not only because she is my sweet baby but because she absolutely does NOT like the camera and she posed just for me.
i love you two girls to heaven!
little miss e and i had such a fun day taking these images. she is such a free spirited little girl with lots of laughs and giggles. her eyes are simply gorgeous and to die for. i must say that i love photographing military families but i sure hate to see them go after only a few months after meeting them. good luck in your journey, guys!
my heart melts every time i look at this image. such a sweet sweet baby girl.
little miss c is now a big sister, so we definitely had to get the two together for a photo session. she is so fully of enery and all smiles. i love her curls too!
baby b was such a joy to photograph, he slept the entire time...until it was feeding time.
senior sessions are hands down one of my favorite to photograph. i love everything from the dressing up, the make up, the hair do's, the whole nine yards. what girl doesn't LOVE dressing up?! christian is a 2012 senior and i had so much fun photographing her. when a senior has so much personality and is not afraid to be themselves in front of the camera, it truly shows in their portraits. LOVE these images!

How adorable is this family! As soon as I met them, I felt welcomed! We got together for a few Christmas portraits.

We of course had to have a portrait or two with gorgeous Miss China as well. How adorable is she!

Why are Custom Photographers so expensive?

Have you ever wondered why a Custom Photographer charges so much? Afterall, Walmart & JcPenny only charge xxx amount. There is a big difference in a Custom Photographer and an Associate from a Walmart who just poses their subjects and snaps the picture. After the photo session, they might order the prints and give you customer service, but that's about the extent of it. Custom Photographers spend so much time on one session. Not only do they go on location usually, they customize each session to the client's personality and liking. I cannot tell you how many times I have been out photographing subject and showed the client a sneak peek on my camera and had the response, "Your camera takes amazing pictures!". What most do not understand is the picture looks amazing on camera, because of the screen. We custom photographers work our magic and that's the beautiful images you receive. Look at the example below.

SOOC = Straight out of Camera

See the big difference? A few tweeks in Photoshop and the picture turned from "blah" to "beautiful"!
